Fine Art & Antiques
We bring you an eclectic offering in this Autumn's Fine Art & Antiques auction. Pictures range from the 17th century through to the present day and feature an interesting collection of illustrations for the Radio Times by prominent commercial illustrators of the 1950s, alongside a poignant painting from the First World War of Scottish troops marching after battle, and many examples of fine Victorian genre painting. The furniture and furnishings predominantly come from a single private home with a distinctly French taste, but are also highlighted with some beautiful English pieces from the Georgian period.
