AUCTION PREVIEW

Die-cast, Models, Toys, Trains and Aero-engines

Wednesday 27th March starting at 10:00am

Our regular Die-cast, Models, Toys, Trains and Aero-engines auction returns with a vast array of different items. Here are some of the example items you can expect to see this time around.

We are pleased to be able to offer two James Stanley Beeson scratch-built locomotives, the LMS class 5F 'Hughes Crab' and LMS class 7F. These incredibly detailed models are made more impressive as they are in the rare EM, or 'Eighteen Millimetre' gauge, used by modellers dissatisfied with the inaccuracy of standard OO gauge. Going up in size, we are also offering three Aster gauge 1 live steam locomotives, the highlight of these being the ‘Stirling Single’.

The models available are not limited to rail, as we have a fantastic selection of scale model ships coming up, including a scratch-built scale replica of a WWII ‘Fairmile D’, fitted with four motors and remote-control equipment.

Heading back to land, we have a restored Bassett Lowke ¾ inch live steam traction engine, and a horizontal live steam engine, finished in cyan and crimson.

Taking to the skies, we have a selection of drones and scale model aircraft, including a remote control de Havilland Mosquito, fitted with two electric motors.

We have a great selection of die-cast models too, with highlights including a pre-war Dinky ‘Ovaltine’ van, and a boxed Spot-on Jaguar E-type.

The full catalogue will be published on Friday 15th March, with the online-only auction taking place at 10:00 on Wednesday 27th March.
